Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical oversight of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including roadways and site development.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and prepare comprehensive project specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure optimal delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and government agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Review construction documents for quality assurance and technical accuracy.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure project adherence to structural integrity and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the State of Texas is mandatory.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in civil site design and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, and HEC-RAS modeling software.
- Deep understanding of municipal codes, zoning regulations, and environmental compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to represent the firm in client-facing presentations.
