Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of large-scale civil infrastructure projects, including site development, drainage, and utility systems.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and technical deliverables to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Provide technical mentorship and oversight to junior engineers and design staff.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, permitting boards, and sub-consultants to secure necessary project approvals.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, feasibility studies, and construction documents.
- Utilize advanced engineering software to conduct hydraulic modeling and site grading analysis.
- Conduct site visits to perform inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and stormwater modeling software.
- Proven track record of managing project life cycles and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to stakeholders.
- Experience with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations is highly preferred.
