Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of large-scale civil infrastructure projects, including site development, grading, and drainage.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles from feasibility studies through to construction administration.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and municipal authorities.
- Perform complex hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to ensure compliance with local and state standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight on high-priority design tasks.
- Review construction documents and specifications for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Represent the company at client meetings and public hearings, ensuring professional communication of project status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in civil site development.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Demonstrated expertise in local municipal codes, permit processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing engagements.
