Responsibilities
- Lead the design and oversight of complex civil infrastructure and land development projects.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies and stakeholders to secure necessary project permits.
- Perform technical reviews of engineering plans, calculations, and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and support professional development within the team.
- Conduct site visits and field inspections to ensure compliance with design plans.
- Utilize advanced modeling software to conduct hydraulic and structural analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the state of Texas.
- Minimum 6+ years of progressive experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal zoning and construction regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to clients.
