Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex civil engineering infrastructure projects.
- Manage technical staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams including architects, surveyors, and government agencies.
- Perform advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support site development designs.
- Ensure all project deliverables comply with state, federal, and local regulatory codes and safety standards.
- Oversee site inspections and construction administration to guarantee build quality.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings, technical specifications, and comprehensive reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate professional development within the design team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and HEC-RAS modeling software.
- Deep understanding of municipal permitting processes and environmental regulations.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and client expectations effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
