Responsibilities
- Lead the design and oversight of large-scale municipal infrastructure projects, including roadways, drainage, and utility networks.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and modeling to ensure structural integrity and compliance.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful completion within scope.
- Coordinate effectively with city officials, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance on design standards.
- Review and approve construction documents, site plans, and technical specifications.
- Conduct field inspections to ensure adherence to design plans and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Texas is required.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in civil infrastructure or site development.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Demonstrated expertise in local municipal codes and permitting processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
