Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale infrastructure projects, including roadways, drainage, and utility networks.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineering staff and CAD designers.
- Manage project lifecycles from preliminary feasibility studies through final construction administration.
- Ensure full compliance with local municipal codes, state regulations, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, geotechnical experts, and city officials to streamline project delivery.
- Review and approve detailed construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Utilize advanced engineering software to perform complex structural and hydrological analyses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in civil site design and infrastructure projects.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and MS Project.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar capital improvement projects.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team management and client relations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
