Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of large-scale infrastructure and land development projects.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary design teams to ensure project success.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and technical reviews for drainage, utilities, and site grading.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff to foster professional growth and design quality.
- Conduct site visits and field inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety codes.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, permit applications, and construction documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD software.
- Proven ability to navigate local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on quality assurance and risk mitigation.
