Responsibilities
- Lead the design and oversight of complex civil engineering projects including site development, drainage, and utility infrastructure.
- Manage project lifecycles from preliminary design and feasibility studies through final construction documentation.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, clients, and contractors to ensure project compliance and timely delivery.
- Perform advanced structural and hydraulic modeling to optimize system efficiency.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and review technical work for accuracy and code compliance.
- Identify potential engineering challenges and develop innovative, cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and stormwater management software.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of local municipal codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
