Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering of complex site development and public infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including architects, surveyors, and environmental consultants.
- Perform technical reviews of engineering plans, specifications, and drainage reports for regulatory compliance.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and client expectations from inception to construction close-out.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
- Liaise with local municipal agencies to secure necessary permits and ensure zoning compliance.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, and HEC-RAS is essential.
- Proven track record of successfully managing public or private utility infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of local Houston-area permitting processes and ordinances.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead high-stakes stakeholder meetings.
