Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering of large-scale civil infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and environmental impact analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, surveyors, and government stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and technical documentation ensuring adherence to local and federal regulations.
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight on complex project components.
- Represent the firm in client meetings and public hearings regarding project status and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in civil site design and infrastructure.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of local Houston municipal building codes and zoning laws.
- Exceptional leadership and project management capabilities with a proven track record of delivering projects on time.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
