Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and oversee technical modeling using Civil 3D.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and regulatory compliance to ensure milestone success.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering staff.
- Conduct site investigations and evaluate feasibility for structural and environmental constraints.
- Coordinate closely with city officials, stakeholders, and construction contractors.
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to strict safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the state of Texas.
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in municipal or commercial infrastructure design.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD software.
- Deep understanding of local building codes, land development regulations, and environmental permitting.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
