Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex municipal and commercial civil infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and urban planners.
- Perform advanced structural analysis and ensure all project designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee site inspections and resolve technical challenges during the construction phase.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and municipal authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure design or site development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, and HEC-RAS modeling software.
- Deep understanding of municipal codes, zoning regulations, and storm-water management standards.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale projects and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders.
