As a key leader in our firm, you will guide multidisciplinary teams through complex engineering challenges, ensuring excellence from conceptual design to final construction.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of large-scale municipal infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and utility networks.
- Oversee project lifecycle from feasibility studies and site analysis to final permitting and construction administration.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental scientists, and urban planners.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely delivery of high-stakes projects.
- Ensure all engineering practices adhere to state and federal safety, environmental, and accessibility regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in land development or public works infrastructure.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and Bentley MicroStation.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar capital projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead stakeholders and clients through complex project negotiations.
