Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering design process for site development, drainage, and transportation infrastructure.
- Manage project lifecycles from feasibility studies through construction administration.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies to secure necessary permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Conduct advanced technical analysis using modeling software such as Civil 3D or HEC-RAS.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in land development or public works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.
- Strong working knowledge of local Houston-area municipal codes and zoning ordinances.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
