Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and engineering phase for multi-million dollar infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental consultants, and government agencies.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and oversee technical drafting using CAD and BIM software.
- Ensure full compliance with local municipal codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct site visits and provide field oversight to ensure construction aligns with design specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Texas licensure preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in site development, drainage, or transportation engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Strong background in local Texas permitting processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of meeting strict deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client-facing engagements.
