Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex civil infrastructure projects from conceptual phase to construction completion.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure deliverables meet strict quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, architects, and stakeholders to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Perform advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support robust drainage and site development planning.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and conduct rigorous quality control reviews on technical drawings and specifications.
- Utilize advanced CAD/BIM software to create innovative and efficient engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in land development or municipal infrastructure.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and stormwater modeling software.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar projects and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and environmental codes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence key project stakeholders.
