Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects including roadway, drainage, and utility systems.
- Manage project lifecycles, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to strict project timelines and budgets.
- Oversee and mentor junior engineering staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, stakeholders, and clients to secure necessary permits and project approvals.
- Perform advanced site assessments and hydrological studies to ensure environmental compliance and structural longevity.
- Utilize advanced CAD and BIM modeling software to deliver high-precision engineering documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in land development or heavy civil infrastructure.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and MS Project.
- Proven track record in managing project budgets exceeding $5M.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional project teams.
- Deep knowledge of local zoning, drainage, and utility regulations in the Houston metropolitan area.
