Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical oversight of municipal infrastructure and civil site development projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including surveyors, environmental scientists, and architects.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and prepare technical reports for project stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local/federal building codes.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate professional development within the design team.
- Review and approve construction documents, specifications, and drainage models.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and design standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas required.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in land development or infrastructure design.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Strong understanding of regulatory permit processes and regional environmental compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
