Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical oversight of complex land development and municipal infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental consultants, and government agencies.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, technical specifications, and project cost estimates.
- Utilize advanced modeling software to simulate project impacts and ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee on-site inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and rigorous quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate technical knowledge sharing within the firm.
- Manage project lifecycles to ensure adherence to strict timelines and budget constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in site development or municipal engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal building codes and permitting processes.
- Exceptional leadership abilities and the capacity to manage multiple complex workflows.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
