Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and prepare technical reports for regulatory approval.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate project workflows with CAD/BIM designers.
- Represent the company in client meetings and public hearings to present technical solutions.
- Ensure project designs comply with local, state, and federal building codes and environmental standards.
- Oversee site inspections and quality control audits to ensure structural integrity and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in civil site design, grading, and utility systems.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and project budgets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional project teams.
