Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including roadway and drainage systems.
- Manage project lifecycles from preliminary site assessment through final permitting and construction administration.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineering staff to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate seamlessly with local municipal authorities, utility agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate project approvals.
- Perform advanced structural and hydraulic modeling to ensure resilient and efficient project designs.
- Review and stamp design documents, calculations, and specifications for submittal.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality control metrics to ensure milestones are met on time and under budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in municipal or land development engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD software packages.
- Strong working knowledge of local Texas regulatory codes and municipal ordinances.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead client meetings and technical presentations.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
