Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex civil engineering projects including site development, grading, and drainage.
- Manage project lifecycles from preliminary feasibility studies through to final construction administration.
- Perform detailed hydraulic and hydrologic modeling using industry-standard software.
- Coordinate seamlessly with clients, municipal agencies, architects, and sub-consultants to ensure project alignment.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical review of engineering plans and specifications.
- Ensure full compliance with local codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Texas licensure preferred.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, and HEC-RAS.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale project budgets and timelines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead client-facing presentations and technical meetings.
