Responsibilities
- Lead the design and supervision of large-scale civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates in strict compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Conduct rigorous site inspections and coordinate effectively with subcontractors, architects, and government authorities.
- Ensure all engineering solutions adhere to rigorous safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and draftspersons.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in civil engineering, preferably within the Singaporean market.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore’s Building Control Act and local construction standards.
