Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale civil engineering infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including architects, surveyors, and government agencies.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and technical modeling using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Ensure all project designs strictly adhere to local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Review and stamp engineering plans and reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate professional growth within the civil department.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and client expectations throughout the lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in site development and municipal infrastructure.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Strong understanding of local Houston/Texas zoning and construction ordinances.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of managing project teams.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for stakeholder management.
