Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering process for large-scale municipal infrastructure projects.
- Manage project lifecycles from feasibility studies and site analysis to construction oversight.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and urban planners.
- Ensure all project designs comply with local, state, and federal building codes and environmental regulations.
- Conduct technical reviews of blueprints, CAD models, and structural computations.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of safety and precision.
- Participate in client meetings and stakeholder presentations to ensure alignment with project goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HEC-RAS software suites.
- Strong background in hydrology, drainage, and utility infrastructure management.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and under budget.
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to solve complex design challenges under tight deadlines.
