Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of large-scale infrastructure and site development projects.
- Manage project lifecycles, ensuring adherence to technical standards, safety regulations, and budget constraints.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and sub-consultants to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and technical reviews of design deliverables.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers in best practices and technical workflows.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas or the ability to obtain reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in civil site design and infrastructure projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal stormwater and land development regulations.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage project deadlines effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client-facing engagements.
