Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and execution of diverse civil infrastructure projects, including transportation, water resources, and site development.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, technical specifications, design drawings, and construction documents with precision and adherence to standards.
- Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and build strong relationships.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough site investigations, feasibility studies, and condition assessments to inform design solutions.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Utilize advanced engineering software and tools for modeling, analysis, and design optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with relevant federal, state, and local permitting processes and design standards.
