Responsibilities
- Lead the design and oversight of large-scale municipal infrastructure projects including water distribution and drainage systems.
- Manage project lifecycles from preliminary design and feasibility studies through final construction.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams of architects, planners, and public officials to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Perform complex site investigations and hydraulic modeling to ensure long-term site stability.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns to foster a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
- Ensure all engineering outputs meet rigorous safety, environmental, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in municipal or urban infrastructure design.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and permitting processes.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar capital improvement projects.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
