Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end design and execution of large-scale municipal infrastructure projects.
- Conduct complex civil engineering calculations and technical analyses for grading, drainage, and utility systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and drafters to ensure project excellence.
- Liaise with local government agencies, stakeholders, and clients to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Oversee site inspections and construction administration to ensure design specifications are met.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, permit applications, and construction documentation.
- Review project budgets and timelines to ensure fiscal and schedule adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in civil site development or infrastructure engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and stormwater management software.
- Deep understanding of municipal codes, zoning laws, and environmental permitting processes.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
