Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex municipal and commercial civil infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental scientists, and urban planners.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
- Conduct advanced site analysis and feasibility studies to optimize engineering solutions.
- Ensure full compliance with local zoning laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and facilitate technical knowledge transfers within the department.
- Represent the firm at client meetings, public hearings, and stakeholder presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution; Master’s degree preferred.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the state of Texas is required.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure or land development.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and Bluebeam Revu.
- Demonstrated expertise in drainage design, grading, and utility coordination.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead multi-phase projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
