As a key member of our lead engineering team, you will mentor junior staff, oversee complex site developments, and ensure our projects remain the gold standard in structural safety and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical development of large-scale municipal and commercial infrastructure projects.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and prepare comprehensive technical reports for public and private stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects and urban planners.
- Ensure project compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and environmental regulations.
- Review blueprints, site plans, and CAD drawings to verify structural integrity and optimize land use.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and safety compliance on active construction sites.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure milestones are met on schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; Master’s degree preferred.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in civil site design and land development.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Demonstrated expertise in drainage, paving, and utility design.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of managing engineering design teams.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
