Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the design, permitting, and construction support for major civil infrastructure projects.
- Conduct detailed site analysis, hydrological modeling, and storm water management design.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and client communications to ensure high-level delivery.
- Review technical plans, specifications, and reports to ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross-functional design teams.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering reports and permit submittals for municipal approval.
- Participate in client meetings and lead public stakeholder presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and stormwater modeling software.
- Deep understanding of local building codes and zoning ordinances.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage multifaceted project lifecycles.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
