Responsibilities
- Lead the design and project management of large-scale civil infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
- Oversee site analysis, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and environmental consultants.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations.
- Review and stamp engineering drawings and technical reports.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure optimal delivery.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and design staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas is required.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in land development or public infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and Bluebeam.
- Strong understanding of storm water management, utility design, and road alignment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead client meetings and public presentations.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar engineering budgets.
