Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end design and execution of urban infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct site investigations and analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan and execute projects effectively.
- Supervise junior engineering staff and coordinate with contractors, government agencies, and stakeholders.
- Perform complex structural calculations and simulations using advanced modeling software.
- Oversee project budgets, procurement of materials, and on-site scheduling to ensure on-time delivery.
- Lead public consultation sessions and present design proposals to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in structural design, site development, or municipal engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental impact regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional project teams.
