You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, manage, and deliver complex urban development projects that set new standards for safety, sustainability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale municipal infrastructure projects including water systems, roads, and storm drainage.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from conceptual design through to construction administration.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and oversee the preparation of technical plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Coordinate with public agencies, stakeholders, and utility providers to ensure project compliance and timely approvals.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on site development challenges.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control audits to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring successful delivery under constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the State of Texas or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in land development or public works projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and zoning laws.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
