Responsibilities
- Lead the design and oversight of complex municipal infrastructure projects, including roadways and drainage systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff to ensure project compliance and quality.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of high-value contracts.
- Coordinate seamlessly with city planners, environmental consultants, and government agencies to obtain necessary permits.
- Perform advanced structural analyses and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, feasibility studies, and detailed site documentation.
- Ensure all project work strictly adheres to OSHA regulations, local building codes, and sustainability standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in civil design and project management.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-disciplinary teams in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
