Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering process for municipal, commercial, and industrial infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including urban planners, environmental consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare, review, and approve technical specifications, construction documents, and cost estimates.
- Utilize advanced modeling software to conduct hydraulic, structural, and site development analysis.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and ensure quality control standards are met across all project phases.
- Represent the company during client meetings, public hearings, and on-site inspections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain reciprocity).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in land development or municipal infrastructure.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex budgets and project lifecycles exceeding $5M.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of stakeholder management.
- In-depth knowledge of local Houston municipal building codes and zoning ordinances.
