Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex civil engineering projects including site grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure.
- Manage project lifecycles from feasibility studies and conceptual design through to final construction administration.
- Perform advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to ensure code compliance and project durability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and urban planners.
- Prepare and review comprehensive construction documents, technical reports, and permit applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex design challenges.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction alignment with design specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in land development or municipal infrastructure.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of local municipal codes, zoning regulations, and EPA compliance standards.
- Proven track record of managing project budgets and client relationships.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage technical teams on tight deadlines.
