Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including roadways, drainage systems, and site development.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure project compliance and timely approvals.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed construction documents, engineering reports, and technical specifications.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure optimal project delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and field assessments to identify potential challenges and implement proactive solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers to foster professional growth and high-performance standards within the team.
- Review and stamp design packages in accordance with state engineering regulations and quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas or the ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in civil site development or municipal infrastructure engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD software.
- Deep understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental permitting processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and manage client relationships effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail and technical accuracy.
