Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical oversight of large-scale municipal infrastructure projects.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and prepare detailed site development plans.
- Manage project lifecycles, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for design accuracy.
- Obtain and manage necessary environmental permits and regulatory approvals.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate field conditions and oversee construction progress.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal engineering codes and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in civil site design and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD software.
- Expertise in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and site grading design.
- Proven track record of project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
