Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale municipal infrastructure projects.
- Conduct complex civil engineering calculations and feasibility studies.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineering staff and drafting teams.
- Ensure project compliance with state, local, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including city officials, architects, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and technical documentation with precision.
- Utilize advanced modeling software to optimize structural integrity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas is required.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure or urban development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and Bluebeam.
- Deep understanding of municipal permitting processes and zoning ordinances.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on schedule.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
