Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex civil infrastructure systems including roads, drainage, and utility networks.
- Direct project teams through all phases of development, from conceptual planning to final construction documentation.
- Ensure project compliance with local municipal codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate seamlessly with architects, surveyors, and external stakeholders to streamline project delivery.
- Perform advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to ensure long-term site stability.
- Mentor junior engineers, reviewing designs for accuracy and technical excellence.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, proactively identifying risks to maintain profit margins.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience in municipal or land development engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of Harris County drainage and permitting regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with cross-functional project teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client-facing presentations.
