Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale municipal infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and public utility providers.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and oversee technical site inspections.
- Ensure project adherence to local building codes, EPA standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely delivery.
- Review and approve detailed design drawings, CAD models, and engineering reports.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance on site-specific challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in civil infrastructure or site development.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD software.
- Proven track record in managing complex multi-disciplinary construction projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for effective client communication.
- In-depth knowledge of stormwater management, grading, and utility infrastructure systems.
