Responsibilities
- Manage complex civil engineering projects from conceptual design to final construction handover.
- Conduct advanced technical analysis, modeling, and calculations for site development and stormwater management.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, including junior engineers, drafters, and field surveyors.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies to secure necessary permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for high-stakes stakeholders.
- Perform field inspections to ensure projects adhere to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Utilize Civil 3D to develop precise grading, drainage, and utility plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in municipal or land development engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software.
- Proven track record of project management and successful client relationship building.
- Deep knowledge of local and federal building codes and environmental regulations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
