Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, and site development.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and quality control reviews to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, surveyors, and contractors, to resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare and present project proposals and technical reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and Bentley MicroStation.
- Strong understanding of local and federal building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept through construction closeout.
