Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform structural analysis using advanced software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
- Develop construction documents and specifications
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure design and project management
- PE license required (Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and industry-specific software
- Demonstrated success with DOT/FHWA projects
- Strong knowledge of TCEQ and FEMA guidelines
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience with sustainable design practices (LEED certification a plus)
