Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Civil Engineer to join our elite team in London. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, lead junior staff, and engage directly with stakeholders to deliver world-class civil engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and supervision of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and commercial developments.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction plans using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery within scope and budget.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with UK Building Regulations, local authorities' requirements, and environmental standards.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and engineering technicians.
Qualifications
- BEng (Hons) or MEng degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered status (ICE) or working towards chartership is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience in civil engineering project management and design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of UK construction codes and structural engineering principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
