Responsibilities
- Lead the design and planning of civil infrastructure projects, including bridges, roads, and water systems.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and analyze soil conditions to ensure structural integrity.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and blueprints using advanced CAD and BIM software.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, coordinating with contractors, architects, and government agencies.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with local, state, and federal safety codes and regulations.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder presentations.
