Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects (transportation, water systems, urban planning)
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and compliance reviews for regulatory adherence
- Develop engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM software
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and foster cross-departmental collaboration
- Implement sustainable design principles (LEED certification preferred)
- Oversee construction phases ensuring quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling
- Expertise in TxDOT and municipal permitting processes
- Proven project management with PMP certification
- Strong understanding of geotechnical and structural engineering principles
- Excellent problem-solving and client presentation skills
